President Serzh Sargsyan will start a three-day working visit to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland

On February 9, President Serzh Sargsyan will start a three-day working visit to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The Presidential delegation comprises His Holiness Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian, and the Mayor of Yerevan Gagik Beglarian.

During the working visit, the President of Armenia will be recieved by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II at the Buckingham Palace. At his London residence, the President of Armenia will meet with the Foreign Secretary of the United Kingdom, David Miliband. President Serzh Sargsyan will also meet with Charles, Prince of Wales.

At the Windsor Palace the President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan will attend the reception and concert organized in the framework of the “Yerevan, my love” project, initiated under the auspices of Prince of Wales and former Prime Minister of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan. The project envisages renovation of four buildings of historical and architectural value located at the center of Yerevan. Serzh Sargsyan will also meet with the representatives of the Armenian Diaspora, who will be arriving to London from all over the world to participate at the project’s launching ceremony.

On the second day of the visit, on February 10, the President of Armenia will make a statement at the Royal Institute of International Relations. President Sargsyan will address issues related to the regional security, current stage of the Armenian-Turkish process of normalization, and the NK peace process.

At the Tate Modern art gallery in London, President Sargsyan will attend the opening ceremony of the exhibition celebrating the extraordinary life and work American-Armenian artist Arshile Gorky.

In London, the President of Armenia will give an interview to the Al Jazeera news network.
