The newly appointed Ambassador of Poland to the RA presented his credentials to President Serzh Sargsyan

Today, the newly appointed Ambassador of Poland to the Republic of Armenia Zdzislaw Raczynski presented his credentials to President Serzh Sargsyan.

The President of Armenia congratulated the Polish Ambassador on his nomination and said that Armenia is interested in developing relations with Poland on bilateral as well as multilateral levels. Noting, that cooperation with the European Union is a priority of the Armenian foreign policy, Serzh Sargsyan underscored that he anticipates that the Polish Ambassador would be working actively on that direction as well.

Ambassador Raczynski assured the President of Armenia that during his tenure he would do his best to deepen cooperation between Armenia and Poland in different areas. He also said that after one week in Armenia it has become clear that Armenia is genuinely interested in elevating relations with Poland and the European Union to a qualitatively new level.

The Ambassador of Poland also noted that the Eastern Partnership project is one of Polish initiatives and can serve an excellent basis for cooperation. In his turn, President Sargsyan said that Armenia is striving to make the most of the opportunities offered by the project.

The President of Armenia and the Polish Ambassador exchanged views on the possible areas of the Armenian-Polish cooperation and economic programs. President Sargsyan stress, in particular, the necessity of expanding ties in the humanitarian area. The parties noted that the Armenian-Polish community serves as a natural bridge between the two nations.

Serzh Sargsyan assured the newly appointed Ambassador that during his tenure he can rely on the assistance of the Armenian state bodies.
