President Serzh Sargsyan will conduct an official visit to France

On March 9-11, President Serzh Sargsyan will conduct an official visit to France. The delegation headed by the President of the Republic comprises the Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian, the Minister of Diaspora Affairs Hranush Hakopian, the Chairman of the Armenian-French Friendship parliamentary group, member of the National Assembly Ara Babloyan, and other officials.

On March 10, President Sargsyan will be hosted at the Elysee Palace by the President of the French Republic Nicolas Sarkozy. The Presidents of Armenia and France will discuss the agenda of the bilateral relations, speak about the pressing regional and international issues. The President of France will give an official dinner in honor of the President of Armenia. Serzh Sargsyan and Nicolas Sarkozy will also give a joint press conference.

In the framework of his official visit to France, President Sargsyan will meet with the President of French Senate Gerard Larcher and the Speaker of the National Assembly Bernard Accoyer.

In Paris, the President of Armenia will also meet with the prominent representatives of the Armenian-French community. He will visit Matignon gallery, where escorted by the renowned artist Jansem, he will tour the exhibition of the artist.

President Sargsyan will give interviews to a number of foreign media outlets.

On March 11, the delegation headed by the President of Armenia will return to Yerevan.
