President Serzh Sargsyan received the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Tina Kaidanow

Today, President Serzh Sargsyan received the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Tina Kaidanow.

The President of Armenia said that Armenia attaches great importance to the deepening of cooperation with the United States and expressed gratitude to the American Government for the extensive assistance provided to our country, as well as for its efforts aimed at the establishment of peace and stability in the region.

The parties highlighted the importance of President Sargsyan’s participation to the Nuclear Safety Summit in Washington last month, bilateral meetings held in the framework of the Summit, and stressed the significance of maintaining an active political dialogue.

The two sides discussed also the prospects of development of the Armenian-American bilateral relations, issues related to regional stability and expressed readiness to continue the interaction toward the establishment of the regional stability, enhancement of economic development, and implementation of the reforms.

President Sargsyan and Tina Kaidanow exchanged also views on the NK peace process, underlining with this regard the importance of the continual efforts by the Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group.
