President Serzh Sargsyan will conduct a working visit to Saint Petersburg

Upon the invitation of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev, on June 17-19 President Serzh Sargsyan will conduct a working visit to Saint Petersburg to participate at the annual international economic forum.

The Presidents of Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan are expected to hold a tripartite meeting on the sidelines of the Forum.

In Saint Petersburg, the President of Armenia will participate at the festive events dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the Armenian community of Saint Petersburg. At the Armenian National Center, Serzh Sargsyan will meet with the leaders of the Armenian community, participate at the opening of the exhibition of the ancient Armenian manuscripts and printed books at the Saltykov-Shchedrin National Library. In addition, at the Saint Petersburg University President Sargsyan will attend the ceremony of signing the Program of Cooperation between the Yerevan State University and State University of Saint Petersburg.

At the Mariinski Theatre Concert Hall, the President of Armenia will be present at the concert dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the Armenian community of Saint Petersburg. Later, he will attend and make a statement at the official reception at the Tavrichesky Palace dedicated to the jubilee of the community.
