President Serzh Sargsyan attended the final round of the Best Sporting Family annual competition

Today, President Serzh Sargsyan attended the final round of the Best Sporting Family annual competition for Presidential Award, which took place at the Tsakhkadzor main sport and cultural arena.

The President of Armenia congratulated the winners and handed awards and certificates.

In his congratulatory remarks President Sargsyan said, “I wish you to always be healthy, energetic, strong and lissome. It looks like everybody feels like a winner. The atmosphere is excellent. Children brought up in such atmosphere will have a great childhood. As a rule, children brought up in the families such as these ones become worthy members of the society. If we claim that our greatest asset are our people, we have to do everything to keep our nation healthy. A healthy person has aptitude to struggle and win; a healthy person has aptitude for success. I wish that the number of sporting families in Armenia grow every year, so that soon we talk not about hundreds but thousands of sporting families, because healthy environment always bears healthy ideas. I congratulate you all and wish you all the best.”

The organizers of the competition informed the President of Armenia that the number of the participants to the Best Sporting Family has doubled. The competition was held in two age groups. According to the organizers of the event, this new approach has significantly increased interest toward healthy lifestyle in the capital, as well as in the marzes of Armenia and in Nagorno Karabakh.

The winners received certificates and money awards.

In Tsakhkadzor, President of Armenia visited also the newly constructed Rossia hotel compound which was built through a million AMD investment. The President of Armenia observed facilities of the compound which are in line with international standards.
