President Sargsyan met with Jean-Marie Sander, President of ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank
President Serzh Sargsyan met today with Jean-Marie Sander, President of ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank.
The President of Armenia highly valued ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank’s participation and input to Armenia’s banking system, noting that the Bank is playing considerable role in our economy, particularly in the development of agriculture.
“I believe, on one side you have made a very good investment, on the other hand – you have brought a new culture to our financial market, which is very important for us,” the Serzh Sargsyan said.
The President of ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank noted that the Bank was participating with pleasure and measure of responsibility in the development of the Armenian economy, accentuating, in particular, the area of agriculture, also development of rural areas and in the future intends to bring its participation to the general economic development of our country.
According to Jean-Marie Sander, ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank in addition to the financial and economic cooperation brings also its contribution to the strengthening of the Armenian-French friendship. As an example, he mentioned the event dedicated to the 140th birth anniversary of Komitas which was conducted in France under the auspices of the Bank.
At the conclusion of the meeting the parties underscored that there was every opportunity for ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank to further expand and invigorate its activities in Armenia.
