The newly appointed Ambassador of Ukraine to Armenia presented his credentials to President Sargsyan

Today, the newly appointed Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Armenia Ivan Kukhta presented his credentials to President Serzh Sargsyan.

Serzh Sargsyan congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment and wished him success in his work.

President Sargsyan noted that Armenia is genuinely interested in strengthening her relations with Ukraine and expanding bilateral cooperation. According to the President, necessary legal field for the strengthening of the Armenian-Ukrainian relations has already been established and favorable conditions have been created for the expansion of cooperation. President Sargsyan stressed also the importance of the two countries’ cooperation in international organizations.

“Currently, Ukraine is undergoing serious economic and political reformation. President Yanukovich attaches great importance to the deepening and strengthening of relations with Armenia,” said Ambassador Ivan Kukhta at the meeting with the President of Armenia.

The parties underscored the importance of cooperation in economic, cultural, humanitarian and other areas, as well as interregional cooperation, more dynamic contacts between the business circles of Armenia and Ukraine and promotion of business forums.
