Working meeting related to the problems of Lake Sevan
As instructed by President Serzh Sargsyan, the Chief of Presidential Staff Karen Karapetian conducted today a working meeting related to the problems of Lake Sevan. The meeting was attended by the members of the Commission on the Lake Sevan issues, created by the decision of the President of Armenia, and the heads of the relevant state bodies.
Discussed were activities of the Commission in the first nine months of 2010, process of implementation of the decisions adopted during the previous meeting, which according to the regulations of the Commission from now on will be submitted to the President of the Republic as a report.
With regard to the works conducted during the mentioned period the members of the Commission presented their observations and proposals.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Chairman of the Commission Vladimir Movsissian assured that all necessary steps will be taken to realize in full, on high level and in timely manner all measures envisioned by the Commission’s working plan.
