The newly appointed Ambassador of Canada to Armenia presented his credentials to President Sargsyan

Today, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Canada to the Republic of Armenia John Sloan (residence in Moscow) presented his credentials to President Serzh Sargsyan.

The President congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment as Canadian Ambassador in our country and wished him success in his tenure.

Serzh Sargsyan and Ambassador Sloan stressed the necessity of full utilization of the existing potential for cooperation in the economic, trade, cultural, local governance and other areas. The parties highlighted also the role of the Armenian-Canadian community in the deepening of the Armenian-Canadian relations.

The Ambassador of Canada spoke with satisfaction about efficient cooperation of the two countries in the framework of international organizations such as the UN and OSCE. He assured the President of Armenia that during his tenure he would do his best to strengthen and enhance the Armenian-Canadian ties in all areas.
