President Serzh Sargsyan visited ELBAT company
President Serzh Sargsyan visited today the Yerevan-based ELBAT Armenian-German battery producing company.
ELBAT CJSC equipped with European brand-new equipment and technology produces starter storage lead-acid batteries as well as provides service maintenance in the warranty period and beyond.
After the official inauguration of the plant, the President of Armenia toured the premise and familiarized with the production cycle and future plans of ELBAT. According to the management of the company, equipment and technologies, obtained from a number of European and American firms, ensure high quality of the production, minimize human participation in all manufacture processes, and provide quality control ensured by the laboratories equipped with modern computerized gear. It was also mentioned that working at its full capacity the company will be able not only to satisfy the demand for batteries in Armenia but also part of the demand of the neighboring countries.
