President Serzh Sargsyan participated at the meeting of the Heads of the CIS member states

Today, after the session of the CSTO Collective Security Council in Moscow, President Serzh Sargsyan participated at the meeting of the Heads of the CIS member states. At the meeting discussed were issues related to the enhancement of integration processes in the economic and humanitarian areas, increase of the security level and over two dozen issues pertinent to the cooperation in different areas and implementation of joint events.

In 2011, Tajikistan will assume the presidency of the CIS. It was decided that the next CIS Summit will be held in Dushanbe in September 2011 and another, unofficial summit – in the end of next year in Moscow.

Tonight, the delegation headed by President Sargsyan will conclude its working visit to the Russian Federation and return to Yerevan.
