President Serzh Sargsyan attended the opening of the ART EXPO-2011
Today, President Serzh Sargsyan attended the opening of the ART EXPO-2011 at the RA Artists Union. The ART EXPO-2011 is initiated by the Ministry of Culture and Expomedia center and is being organized for the second time in a row.
The President toured the premise and observed pavilions which represent over fifty state and non-governmental cultural organizations – museums, exhibitions, theater, concert and festival associations. He also familiarized with their projects and achievements in 2010 and learned about forthcoming plans. At the ART EXPO-2011 presented were also historical, cultural artifacts and relics of immaterial heritage, cinematography, cultural education, jubilee editions, albums and CDs.
President Sargsyan visited also the hall of presentation where the cultural organizations will present new movies, different educational programs, lectures, and make presentations.
