Today, in Tsakhkadzor President Serzh Sargsyan held a meeting with the Board of the Central Bank and members of the finance and credit committee.
Participants to the meeting discussed the peculiarities of the ongoing inflation, main factors that define the inflation, including price trends at the international commodity and raw material markets and their impact on the internal commodity markets. Stressed were measures toward containing inflation such as the role of monetary and credit policy and potential effects. At the meeting discussed were also current challenges to the global finance and credit policy, possible adjustment of the policies and probable upshots of that developments on the Armenian economy.
