The Deputy Secretary of State noted that this was his third visit to Armenia after he joined the Obama administration and added that he was glad that his visits promote the Armenian-American relations.

“Mr. President, as you’ve already mentioned, these regular visits, also your February meeting with the Secretary of State in Munich and the last year meeting with President Obama in Washington and, of course, my visit to Armenia, prove that relations between our two states are strong,” said James Steinberg.

At the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to regional security and the NK peace process.
