President Sargsyan received the Special Representative of the United Kingdom in the South Caucasus, Bryan Foley

Today, President Serzh Sargsyan received the Special Representative of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in the South Caucasus, Bryan Foley.

The President of Armenia expressed hope that Mr. Foley’s visit will be instrumental not only for the development of bilateral Armenian-British ties but also for learning first hand about regional problems and observing the dynamics of development. The President of Armenia underscored that Armenia attaches great importance to the enhancement of her relations with Great Britain and is taking necessary steps towards that end. Serzh Sargsyan noted that he recalls warmly his last year meeting in London with Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth and his meeting with the British Prime Minister last December in Astana. President Sargsyan stressed the importance of reciprocal visits and invigoration of the high-level political dialogue for the development of bilateral cooperation.

The Special Representative of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in the South Caucasus, Bryan Foley noted that Great Britain is also working towards strengthening and furthering existing good relations with Armenia.
