President Sargsyan received the delegation headed by the member of the House of Lords of the United Kingdom, Baroness Caroline Cox
President Serzh Sargsyan received today the delegation headed by the member of the House of Lords of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Baroness Caroline Cox.
The President of Armenia stressed the importance of the visit of the British parliamentarians to our country, underscoring that members of the Parliament play an essential role in the strengthening and deepening of the Armenian-British relations.
Serzh Sargsyan welcomed the decision of the delegation headed by Baroness Cox to visit also the Republic of Nagorno Karabakh and see first hand the situation on the ground and get a comprehensive idea regarding the essence of the conflict and the desire of the people of Artsakh to live freely and independently on their own land.
The members of the UK parliamentary delegation expressed readiness to do their best to further the relations between Armenia and the United Kingdom. They assessed meetings held in Yerevan as practical and efficient.
