President Serzh Sargsyan received the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs

President Serzh Sargsyan received today the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Tina Kaidanow who has arrived to Yerevan in the framework of her regional visit.

Welcoming another visit by the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State to Armenia, President Sargsyan noted that such meetings provide a good opportunity to go through the agenda of the Armenian-American cooperation, which is aimed at the deepening of bilateral relations and enhancement in our country of democratic processes which will eventually make Armenia a developed country.

The parties underscored that Armenia and the US have strong partnership on bilateral as well as multilateral levels and strive to expand and deepen these relations in all areas of mutual interest.

Ms. Kaidanow noted that the Armenian-American relations have a precise and positive orientation and expressed confidence and the tendency would continue. She expressed readiness of the United States to continue to support President Sargsyan in his steps aimed at the strengthening of democracy in Armenia.

Along with bilateral issues, the parties discussed also a wide range of regional issues.
