President Serzh Sargsyan received the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly President Petros Efthymiou
President Serzh Sargsyan received today the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly President Petros Efthymiou.
The parties stressed the importance of Armenia’s cooperation with different structure of the OSCE including Parliamentary Assembly, underscoring, in particular, joint work in the areas of democratic reforms, security, freedom of press, reforms in the Police and in a number of other areas. According to the President of Armenia, Parliamentary Assembly is a good venue to use experience and abilities of political forces and figures to enhance the works of the Organization.
The OSCE Parliamentary Assembly President Petros Efthymiou noted that the PA embodies values which are important for the OSCE – peace, security, friendship and cooperation. He underlined that the Organization works hard in compliance with these principles and values. He also spoke with satisfaction about active work of the Armenian delegation at the Parliamentary Assembly.
