President Serzh Sargsyan received Vic Darchinian
President Serzh Sargsyan received today super flyweight IBO world champion Vic Darchinian.
The President of Armenia congratulated the renowned athlete on his recent victory in a spectacular fight vs. Yonnhy Perez and on receiving the IBO world champion title. The President wished the world champion continuous success and stressed that here, in Armenia we follow closely all his fights and take pride in his and our all other compatriots’ victories in sports.
Vic Darchinian said that it was emblematic that the fight took place on April 24, on the day of commemoration of the victims of the Armenian Genocide, and he won.
