President Serzh Sargsyan received the President of the Senate of Romania Mircha Joanna
President Serzh Sargsyan received today the President of the Senate of Romania Mircha Joanna, who has arrived to our country on a private visit to participate at the events dedicated to the 80th birth anniversary of Hakop Kirmizian, organized jointly by the Romanian National Olympic Committee and the World Committee of the All-Armenian Games.
At the meeting the parties spoke about the current stage of the Armenian-Romanian relations and prospects of development. The parties expressed mutual desire to deepen cooperation in different areas and strengthen bilateral relations. The President of the Senate of Romania noted that the Armenian community of Romania is greatly involved in political and social life of the country and contributes to its development. According to Mircha Joanna, Romania has great esteem and warm feelings toward Armenia and the Armenian people.
