The newly appointed Ambassador of Malaysia to Armenia presented his credentials to President Sargsyan

Today, the newly appointed Ambassador of Malaysia to the Republic of Armenia Zainol Abidin Bin Omar presented his credentials to President Serzh Sargsyan.

The President of Armenia congratulated the Ambassador of Malaysia on his assignment and wished him success. Serzh Sargsyan noted that Armenia is interested in deepening political dialogue, development of economic and cultural ties with Malaysia which enjoys respect of the countries of South-East Asia and plays an important role in maintaining the atmosphere of peace, trust and security in that region.

Ambassador Zainol Abidin Bin Omar underscored that his government is striving to maintain good relations with all countries of the world and is interested in deepening relations with Armenia. He expressed confidence that particularly in the economic area the two countries have significant potential for cooperation and assured that during his tenure he would do his best to fully utilize that potential.

The parties concurred that the two states are also interested in deepening cooperation in the framework of international organizations and should work in that direction.
