Working visit of President Serzh Sargsyan to Poland

Today, in Warsaw President Serzh Sargsyan met with the EU High Commissioner for Foreign Relations and Security Issues Catherine Ashton.

The Parties discussed a wide range of issues pertaining to the Armenia-EU cooperation. They also discussed the process of negotiations on the Association Agreement. Catherine Ashton said that the EU would provide comprehensive assistance to the reforms successfully implemented in Armenia.

At the meeting discussed were also regional issues, as well as the NK peace process. The EU High Commissioner for Foreign Relations and Security Issues underscored that the OSCE Minsk Group is the only format for the resolution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict and the European Union supports the settlement process in the framework of the Minsk Group.

Concluding the working visit to Poland, delegation headed by President Sargsyan today will return to Yerevan.
