President Serzh Sargsyan participated at the inauguration of the Ayb high school in Yerevan

President Serzh Sargsyan participated today at the inauguration of the Ayb high school in Yerevan. Construction of this educational institution started ten months ago and has constantly been in the center of the President’s attention. The high school is only the first component of the Ayb Educational Hub which according to its founders, will be followed by new and even more ambitious programs: constructed will be also elementary and secondary schools, a kindergarten, a church and a communal center, a center for media arts, public parks, etc. The authors of the program hope that this new educational milieu, where exclusive educational technologies based on the national values are being developed and latest achievements of the contemporary education are being tested, will make its input to the growth of the competitiveness of the Armenian education.
At the inauguration of the Ayb high school, it was noted that it was born in the fast and ever-changing world; born by the necessity to have a generation true to its national roots and ready to assume responsibility for the future. The school aspires to become an educational center appropriate for modern times.
During the tour of the newly opened school, the President of Armenia familiarized with the conditions, conversed with the students, their teachers and trustees of the Board of the Ayb Educational Fund. Serzh Sargsyan wished success to the school and underscored that this mission, which is being implemented with great dedication, will constantly have his assistance.
