The newly appointed Ambassador of Vietnam presented his credentials to President Serzh Sargsyan

Today, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Fam Suan Shon (residence in Moscow) presented his credentials to President Serzh Sargsyan.

The President congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment and wished him success in his diplomatic mission in our country.

President Sargsyan noted that Armenia desires to deepen relations with friendly Vietnam. President Serzh Sargsyan discussed with Ambassador Fam Suan Shon issues pertinent to the expansion of bilateral relations and possibilities of developing cooperation.

With this regard, the parties stressed the importance of the works aimed at the expansion of the legal field of cooperation. They noted that along with the development of bilateral relations on different levels as countries – members of the International Organization of Francophony they can also unfold active cooperation in the framework of this and other international organizations.

The Ambassador of Vietnam noted that his country attaches importance to the strengthening of its relations with Armenia. According to Ambassador Fam Suan Shon, Vietnam regards Armenia and the Armenian people with deep respect and gratitude for the provided assistance and friendly attitude shown since Soviet times.
