President Serzh Sargsyan sent a letter to the President of France Nicolas Sarkozy
In the wake of the adoption by the National Assembly of France of the resolution that criminalizes the denial of the Armenian Genocide, President Serzh Sargsyan sent today a letter to the President of France Nicolas Sarkozy. President Sargsyan expressed his gratitude to President Sarkozy underscoring that France has reiterated once again its adherence to the universal human values.

The adoption by the National Assembly of France of the resolution that criminalizes the denial of the Armenian Genocide only two and a half month after your historic visit to the Republic of Armenia, your resolute words spoken in Yerevan, at the Genocide Memorial and at the French Square is the best evidence of Your personal commitment, devotion to the strong Armenian-French friendship and dedication to the elimination of dividing lines in our region and reconciliation of the nations,” the letter of the President of Armenia says.
