President Serzh Sargsyan invited a reception for the representatives of Armenia’s business community
On the occasion of New Year and Holy Christmas holidays, President Serzh Sargsyan invited today a reception for the representatives of Armenia’s business community. The President of Armenia congratulated the entrepreneurs on the upcoming holidays and wished them all the best.
In his congratulatory remarks addressed to the attendees, speaking about the passing year, the President of Armenia noted that it’s been full of important events for the businesses, the government and our people alike.
“It is no news that this year, the world and Europe in particular have been facing grave economic and financial difficulties and these difficulties have not been conquered yet. Evidently, these additional difficulties will be with us next year too. However, the fact is that despite all this, in 2011 Armenia stepped on the path of economic growth and, this is particularly pleasing, has registered considerable growth in the areas of industry and agriculture. It is first of all thanks to you and your work,” President Serzh Sargsyan said.
The President of Armenia spoke also about the economic and political stability, incentives necessary for boosting business, and favorable business environment. He stressed that cooperation with the business community could be much more efficient and qualitatively new economy is quite achievable. “The passing year has been important for us all. It is wonderful that the more complex environment becomes, the more initiatives our entrepreneurs come up with. I am personally aware of many your programs and ideas and wish you success in their implementation. I truly believe in your abilities,” President Serzh Sargsyan underscored.
