President Serzh Sargsyan received today the Vice Prime Minister of Luxemburg, Minister of Foreign Affairs Jean Asselborn

 

Today, President Serzh Sargsyan received the Vice Prime Minister of Luxemburg, Minister of Foreign Affairs Jean Asselborn.

The parties discussed issues pertinent to the development of Armenia’s relations with one of the EU founding members – Luxemburg not only on bilateral level but also in the framework of the European structures. President Serzh Sargsyan and the Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Jean Asselborn concurred that the two countries can establish close relations also in the framework of the international organization of Francophonie.

In the context of the successful Armenian-EU negotiations, the interlocutors stressed the importance of Luxemburg’s assistance to Armenia’s Eurointegration efforts.

The President of Armenia and Vice Prime Minister, Foreign Minister of Luxemburg spoke also about the NK peace process, regional problems and existing challenges.

Jean Asselborn presented to Serzh Sargsyan his and his government’s view on the release by the Azerbaijani authorities of the Azeri murderer Ramil Safarov and underscored that he has also presented it during his press conference with the Armenian colleague.
