President of Armenia participated at the Summit of the European People’s Party

Delegation headed by the President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan today returned from Bucharest to Yerevan.

Late last night, after the European People’s Party Convention, President Sargsyan participated at the EPP Summit which was attended by the heads of state and government of the EU member states, leaders of the Eastern Partnership member countries, President of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy, President of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso, and leaders of the political parties members of the EPP. At the summit, discussed were issues related to the preparatory works for the meeting of the EU Council.
