President Serzh Sargsyan received the Noble Prize winners Tim Hunt and Martin Chalfie

Today, President Serzh Sargsyan received the Noble Prize winners Tim Hunt (Great Britain) and Martin Chalfie (US) who have expressed readiness in the framework of their visit to familiarize with the problems existing in Armenia’s scientific and educational area, share their experience with our specialists, to give public lectures and to organize round-table discussions particularly for our young scientists. The President welcomed the renowned scientists and stressed the importance of the mission which has brought them to Armenia.

The interlocutors underlined the significance of encouraging young people who want to work in science, as well as the import of the works aimed at introducing them to the achievements and world’s advanced experience. They expressed hope that with this regard, meetings with the Noble prize winner scientists will be interesting and instructive.
