Announcement on the accreditation of the journalists at the Presidential Administration for 2013

 

In accordance with the RA Law on Mass Media, the Department for Public and Mass Media Relations of the Presidential Administration on December 17-29, 2012 will perform accreditation of the journalists who cover activities of the President of the Republic of Armenia and Presidential Administration.

For accreditation, it is necessary to present a written application which should include,
a) Full name of the legal entity engaged in the journalistic activity, administrative-legal form, and location; if journalistic activities are conducted by a physical person it is necessary to present his/her full name, (paternal name, if it is present in the passport) and home address.
b) Full name of the journalist to be accredited, as it appears in his/her passport (paternal name, if it is present in the passport).
c) Electronic addresses of the media outlet and the journalist, phone numbers and fax numbers (if available).
d) One electronic picture of the journalist(s) (3.5x4.5 and 300 dpi) to be sent to press@president.am .

Accreditation is valid for one year, however if the applicant requests a shorter period of accreditation, his/her accreditation will be issued for the period of time mentioned in the application.

Each media outlet may present for accreditation not more than two journalists and two photographers, or two cameramen.

Journalists, who represent a media outlet which conducts journalistic activities based on the legislation of foreign states, along with the application should present a copy of the letter of accreditation in the Republic of Armenia, issued by the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Journalists, who represent a media outlet which conducts journalistic activities based on the legislation of foreign states, are not required to receive accreditation at the Presidential Administration if the media outlet they represent has a legal representation on the territory of the Republic of Armenia.
