President Serzh Sargsyan participated at the extraordinary session of the Scientific Council of the Yerevan M. Heratsi Medical State University

Today, President Serzh Sargsyan participated at the extraordinary session of the Scientific Council of the Yerevan M. Heratsi Medical State University dedicated to the 75th birth anniversary and 50th anniversary of professional activities of the RA Distinguished Science Worker, Doctor of Medicine, Professor, Head of the Third Surgical Chair of the Yerevan M. Heratsi Medical State University Hovhannes Sarukhanian.

By the decree of President Serzh Sargsyan, Hovhannes Sarukhanian was awarded the first degree Medal “For Outstanding Services Rendered to Motherland” for his significant contribution to the development of the medical science, great input in the area of medical services as well as for his boundless dedication throughout his professional career.

The President of Armenia handed the high award to Hovhannes Sarukhanian, congratulated and wished all the best to the outstanding scientist and surgeon, whose name, according to the President, is being mentioned with gratitude by his disciples, students, all those have been able to doggedly grasp knowledge passed over by the distinguished scientist and become good and able professionals.
