President Serzh Sargsyan received the Vice President and President of Senate of Argentine Amado Boudou

 

President Serzh Sargsyan received today the Vice President and President of Senate of the Republic of Argentine Amado Boudou, who along with numerous guests has arrived to Armenia to participate at the ceremony of inauguration of the President of Armenia.

Welcoming the high guest and his delegation, the President noted that despite geographical distance relations between Armenia and Argentine have always been exceptionally warm, while great sympathy and mutual trust between the two peoples have been in existence long before Armenia’s independence. According to Serzh Sargsyan, Argentine has always been compassionate toward the problems of the Armenian nation. The parties underscored that in the international settings, approaches and positions of the two countries on a number of significant issues concur and that the Armenian-Argentinean relations are anchored in mutual assistance and trust.

During the meeting, President Serzh Sargsyan once again expressed his deep condolences to the authorities and people of Argentine on the natural disaster which recently hit the country. The President of Armenia expressed hope that Argentine will speedily recover from the consequences of the floods and the life of the people of the friendly Argentine will get back to normal.

Praising the current level of the Armenian-Argentinean relations, the Vice President and President of Senate of Argentine Amado Boudou and President Serzh Sargsyan expressed willingness and readiness to give a new impetus to the bilateral relations and to expand cooperation.
