The newly appointed Ambassador of Lithuania presented his credentials to the President

 

Today, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Lithuania to the Republic of Armenia Erikas Patrikas presented his credentials to the President of Armenia.

President Serzh Sargsyan congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment and wished success in his mission. Serzh Sargsyan spoke with satisfaction about progress registered in recent years in the development of the bilateral relations and expressed hope that the Ambassador in his turn during his tenure in office would make every effort to further strengthen relations between the two states.

Ambassador Erikas Patrikas noted that he was greatly honored to be Lithuania’s Ambassador to Armenia and assured that he would do his best to use the existing potential for enhancing cooperation of the two countries in different areas.

At the meeting, President Serzh Sargsyan and Ambassador Erikas Patrikas exchanged also views on the issues related to Armenia-Lithuania relations in the framework of the European Union.
