The newly appointed Ambassador of Chile to Armenia presented his credentials to the President


 

Today, he newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Chile to the Republic of Armenia Juan Eduardo Eguiguren (residence in Moscow) presented his credentials to President Serzh Sargsyan.

The President congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment. Serzh Sargsyan noted that Armenia maintains good relations and cooperates with a number of Latin American countries and is interested in developing relations also with Chile. The President expressed hope that the newly appointed Ambassador will be able to significantly promote bilateral relations during his tenure, particularly considering the fact that Armenia and Chile have no political problems. Moreover, the two countries are cooperating efficiently in the international settings.

The two sides stressed the importance of expanding the legal field for the development of bilateral cooperation. According to the Ambassador of Chile, certain work has already commenced in that area.

President Sargsyan wished success to Ambassador Juan Eduardo Eguiguren in his responsible diplomatic work for the benefit of the two countries and peoples.
