President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin will conduct a state visit to Armenia

 

At the invitation of President Serzh Sargsyan, on December 2 the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin will conduct a state visit to the Republic of Armenia. In the framework of the visit, there will take place a private meeting between the President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan and President of Russia Vladimir Putin. In Gyumri and capital city Yerevan, Presidents Sargsyan and Putin will participate in a number of events, including the Armenian-Russian interregional conference and will visit the Russian military base n. 102 dislocated in Gyumri.

In Yerevan, at the Presidential Palace, the parties will hold bilateral negotiations. The two sides will discuss the process of implementation of the agreements reached during President Serzh Sargsyan’s September 3 visit to the Russian Federation and will exchange views on the activities directed at Armenia’s accession to the Customs Union and Common Economic Area as well as the future steps. The parties will also sign several documents aimed at strengthening the bilateral relations and deepening of cooperation.

Results of the visit of the President of the Russian Federation to Armenia will be summarized at the meeting of Presidents Serzh Sargsyan and Vladimir Putin with the representatives of the mass media.
