In Prague President Serzh Sargsyan attended a cross-stone consecration ceremony dedicated to Armenian-Czech friendship

 

President Serzh Sargsyan who is in the Czech Republic on a working visit today attended a cross-stone consecration ceremony dedicated to the Armenian-Czech friendship at the park of Saint Jindrich and Kunhuta Church in Prague. The cross-stone was granted to Prague and the Czech Armenian community by the Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of all Armenians His Holiness Karekin II. The Primate of the Czech Republic, the Cardinal-Archbishop of Prague Dominik Duka, the Leader of the Romanian Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Bishop Tatev Hakobyan, members of the Czech Parliament, foreign diplomats, representatives of the Armenian community and the Czech society were present at the ceremony. After the consecration ceremony, the president laid a wreath at the cross-stone in memory of the Armenian Genocide victims.

 

Concluding its two-day working visit to the Czech Republic, the delegation led by President Serzh Sargsyan is returning to Armenia.
