23th session of Hayastan All Armenian Fund's Board of Trustees took place

Today, at the Government Reception House the 23th session of the Hayastan All Armenian Fund's Board of Trustees took place. The session was presided over by the President of the Board of Trustees and the President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan.

Prior to touching upon the items on the agenda, the participants congratulated the new ex officio board members – the President of the National Assembly of Armenia Galust Sahakyan, Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan, the Minister of Finance Gagik Khachatryan and the new representative of the ARS Vigi Marashlyan.

Serzh Sargsyan informed the board members that Andranik Baghdasaryan has been appointed the affiliate chairperson of the US Western Region. He has made a 500000 US dollar donation to the Hayastan All Armenian Fund and is considered as a benefactor according to the decision of the Board of Trustees. At the beginning of the session, the President of the Board of Trustees Serzh Sargsyan handed the membership certificate to Andranik Baghdasaryan.

After adopting the agenda of the session and watching a film about the 2013 works financed by the Fund, the Board of Trustees went on to discuss the items on the agenda in the framework of which the Fund’s Executive Director Ara Vardanyan presented the Executive Board’s 2013 annual report. Afterwards, the participants listened to the auditor’s report of the Control Committee and Grant Thornton audit company. The Board accepted the annual report taking into consideration the report of the Control Committee. At the session, the target issue for the Hayastan All Armenian Fund’s “Marathon 2014” was discussed and adopted. The latter was reported by NKR President Bako Sahakyan.
