President Serzh Sargsyan attends opening ceremony of Opera Suite Hotel

 

President Serzh Sargsyan attended today the opening ceremonies of Yerevan-based Opera Suite Hotel and the adjacent Writers’ Park after Levon Ananyan.

Armenia’s president toured the newly-opened hotel complex built in accordance with international standards, familiarized himself with the investments, positions and the quality of services. The opening ceremony was carried out by Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan and the hotel’s Chief Executive Officer Mahmud Ahmed.

The construction of Opera Suite Hotel started in 2011 and finished on 15 April 2015. Its management is carried out by Renco S.p.A. from Italy. As presented by the executives, the hotel staff presently includes 64 employers whose average monthly salary is 240.000 AMD.

Opera Suite has 15 over-ground and two underground floors. From room categories, it offers deluxe, suite, executive suits and 2 royal suites. The hotel’s 11 floors embrace 106 original rooms furnished with comfortable stylish Italian furniture. The underground floors embrace a car parking, office areas, storehouses and a laundry. The hotel has open and close cafeterias, restaurants, conference halls, a fitness center saturated with modern equipment, a spa center and a swimming-pool. Opera Suite’s three halls - Arno, Wagner and Mozart - can host meetings and other events for up to 170 persons.

The Writers’ Park after Levon Ananyan has also been opened next to the hotel. The park was founded by the participants of the first International Poetry Festival held in Yerevan from 16 to 21 April 2013, who planted trees symbolizing their states in that territory. The total surface of the park comprises 1010 sq. meters. It has been full reconstructed by Opera Suite Hotel.

The memorial plaques of illustrious Armenian writers, Paruyr Sevak, Vahan Terian and Avetik Isahakyan, are installed in the park. The recreation area, which is situated in the center of the yard, is customized for organizing events on special days.
