President introduced the newly appointed Secretary of the National Security Council

Today, President Serzh Sargsyan introduced to the staff of the National Security Council the newly appointed Secretary of the NSC Yuri Khatchaturov.

The President of Armenia thanked the former Secretary of the NSC Armen Gevorkian for the works conducted at this position during his brief tenure and on his own behalf and on behalf of the participants of the meeting wished him all the best at his new position as the Chief of the Presidential Administration.

The President congratulated the newly appointed Secretary of the National Security Council Yuri Khatchaturov and expressed confidence that at his new position he will combine his duties as a military and now also political figure, together with the staff will take up on the organization of the works of the NSC, fully forming the staff of the NSC and bringing his active participation to the resolution of the problems facing the country.

Armen Gevorkian and Yuri Khatchaturov assured the President that during their tenure the Presidential Administration and Secretariat of the NSC will carry out their responsibilities in full, contributing to the increased level of Armenia’s security.
