The President received participants of the Master’s program from the Columbia University and London Business School

President Armen Sarkissian received today participants of the joint Master’s program from the Business School of the Columbia University (US) and Business Administration program of the London Business School who have arrived to Armenia on a cognitive visit to familiarize with the country’s business opportunities, history, and cultural heritage.

The President welcomed the guests and presented them the history of Armenia and the Armenian nation, rich cultural heritage, spoke about changes that have taken place in the country, and the New Armenia vision.

After that President Sarkissian responded to the questions raised by the participants of the meeting which were mainly related to the prospects of Armenia’s development, pivotal areas of economy, investment opportunities in Armenia as well as to the challenges of the constantly changing world.

President Sarkissian spoke with the guests about the promising areas of the Armenian economy, particularly, information technologies, agriculture, food processing, and tourism.

Armen Sarkissian noted that Armenia is efficiently cooperating with the European Union in the framework of the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA), as well as with the Eurasian Economic Union which creates new opportunities for foreign businesses and investors to enter via Armenia major markets.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the President of Armenian underscored that in the constantly changing world full of challenges, the winners are the vital and flexible nations and states, which are able to transform rapidly and dynamically, which are able to adopt to new realities.
