President Armen Sarkissian receives congratulations on the occasion of New Year and Holy Christmas

On the occasion of the New Year and Holy Christmas holiday, President Armen Sarkissian receives congratulations from the heads of foreign states, international organizations, state ane public sectors, representatives of clergy and individuals.

The President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin sent a congratulatory message to President Armen Sarkissian.

The message states:

“Distinguished Mr. President,”

Please accept my sincere congratulation on the approaching New Year and Holy Christmas holidays.

The Russian-Armenian relations have a rich history. I am confident that a further strengthening of our allied ties, constructive cooperation in the framework of the processes of the Eurasian integration and partnership fully correspond to the interests of our brotherly nations.

I wish you, your friends and family excellent health, happiness, and success. And I wish prosperity and well-being to the people of Armenia.”

The Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitri Medvedev also sent a congratulatory letter to the President of Armenia.

The letter states:

“Distinguished Mr. President,

I congratulate you on the occasion of New Year and Holy Christmas. It is important that in 2018 our countries continued working together to invigorate the mutually beneficial cooperation. The trade, economic and investment collaboration has developed, relations with regional, business and public structures have expanded.

Integration in the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union has deepened.
I am confident that maintaining and developing of these positinve tendencies in the coming year stem from our common interests.

Distinguished Mr. President, I wish you excellent health and well-being, as well as peace, stability, and prosperity to the Armenian people.”

President Armen Sarkissian received congratulations and good wishes from the President of the Republic of Artsakh Bako Sahakian, President of the Federal Republic of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier, Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Teresa May, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Hassan Rouhani, President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbaev, President of Poland Andrzej Duda, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguli Berdimuhamedov, President of Egypt Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, Prime Minister of Japan Shinzō Abe, other officials.
