President Armen Sarkissian will participate at the official opening ceremony of the Munich Security Conference

President Armen Sarkissian will conduct a working visit to the Federal Republic of Germany to participate at the official opening of the Munich Security Conference.

The Munich Security Conference is a reputable and influential platform which every year gathers under its roof leaders of multiple states and governments, political, public figures, diplomats, and experts of the security area. At this representative forum, participants discuss issues related to security, reflected in the current challenges existing in this area.
In the framework of the Conference,

President Armen Sarkissian will hold a series of meetings with his counterparts from different states and other high-ranking officials.

During his working visit to Germany, President Sarkissian will visit also the oldest university of Germany – Heidelberg University, where he will make a statement and later will respond to the questions from the audience. President of Armenia will also hold meetings with the scientific and business circles, will visit the European Southern Observatory – one of the largest centers of astronomic studies.
