President Armen Sarkissian received the President of the Armenian General Benevolent Union Berj Sedrakian

President Armen Sarkissian received today the President of the Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU) Berj Sedrakian.

President Sarkissian, who is a member of the Central Board of Directors of the AGBU since 2016, spoke with Berj Sedrakian about the ongoing and future programs of the AGBU, stressed the importance of educational, cultural, and humanitarian undertakings which aim to sow in the younger generation of the Diaspora Armenians interest towards the rich national heritage and tradions.

Welcoming the AGBU growing presence and activities in Armenia, President Sarkissian hailed the Organization's envolvement in the resolution of the issues of pan-national significance.

At the meeting, President Sarkissian and Berj Sedrakian discussed also the Armenia-Spyurk relations, AGBU's mission in their development and strengthening, implementation of Armenia- and Armenian-focused programs.
