President Armen Sarkissian discussed with the leadership of the renowned Italian Leonardo company opportunities of cooperation in the IT area

President Armen Sarkissian, who is in France on a working visit, at the Air Show in Le Bourget visited today the pavilion of the renowned Italian Leonardo company.

The leadership of the company presented to Armen Sarkissian the production of the firm and the latest technologies, their capacities and innovations in this area.

Later, President Sarkissian had a private meeting with the Chief Executive Director of the Leonardo Alessandro Profumo. At the meeting, the interlocutors discussed in particular opportunities of cooperation with Armenia in the areas of information technologies, education, and artificial intelligence.

The Leonardo company, which specializes in the production of defense, security, and airspace related equipment, widely applies high technologies in its products and attaches great importance to the development of information technologies.

President Sarkissian invited the leadership of the company to visit Armenia, to see firsthand and discuss perspective opportunities for cooperation.
