President Xi Jinping congratulated President Armen Sarkissian: I attach great importance to the development of the Armenian-Chinese relations

President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping congratulated President Sarkissian on the occasion of his birth anniversary. The congratulatory message states:

“Armenia is one of China’s traditional cooperation partners and the historical roots of the Armenian-Chinese relations stretch back into the ancient times. In recent years, the bilateral relations have registered positive dynamics, our practical cooperation is deepening steadily.

I attach great importance to the development of the Armenian-Chinese relations and I am ready together with you to make efforts so that in the framework of the implementation of the joint One Belt, One Road initiative the bilateral relations and cooperation receive a new impetus and bring more tangible benefits to our peoples.”
