Newly appointed Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Armenia Bedřich Kopecký presented his credentials to President Sarkissian

Today, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to the Republic of Armenia Bedřich Kopecký presented his credentials to President Armen Sarkissian.

President Sarkissian congratulated the Ambassador on the commencement of his diplomatic mission in Armenia and wished him efficient work.

Noting that the two countries have been traditionally maintaining good relations, President Sarkissian stressed the importance of deepening cooperation in different areas. He noted that Armenia, which signed a Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement with the EU, is also a member to the EAEU and might serve as a bridge to enter different markets.

The Czech Ambassador in his turn noted that especially in the economic area, potential for cooperation is great. He expressed readiness to help in invigorating the bilateral relations and in deepening the cooperation in the framework of the Eastern Partnership Program.
