Newly appointed Ambassador of Lithuania presented her credentials to the President: Relations with Lithuania hold a great potential for deepening further

Today a newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Lithuania H.E. Mrs. Inga Stanytė-Toločkienė presented her credentials to President Armen Sarkissian.

The President of Armenia congratulated the Ambassador on the commencement of her diplomatic mission in our country and expressed confidence that she would have her contribution to a futher strengthening of the Armenian-Lithuanian relations. "Armenia and Lithuania exist in the same European realm and adhere to the same values. I am confident that our relations hold a great potential for deepning even further," President Sarkissian said.

From the viewpoint of developing the bilateral cooperation, the interlocutors viewed as promising the areas of IT, education, culture, and infrastructures.

Ambassador Stanytė-Toločkienė assured that she would do her best to promote not only bilateral cooperation but also cooperation in the framework of the European Union.
