By the decree of President Armen Sarkissian, Armen Harutyunian was awarded the rank of Major-General

By the decree of President Armen Sarkissian, the Head of Missile Troops and Artillery/Head of Department Colonel Armen Harutyunian was awarded the military rank of the Major-General.

Today, at the Presidential Palace President Armen Sarkissian received the RA Minister of Defense David Tonoyan and Armen Harutyunian. He congratulated A. Harutyunian on receiving the high military rank and wished him success and safe service. The President said in particular, “Defend the borders of our country so well that no one has even a slightest desire to make the smallest encroachment.”

Major-General Harutyunian thanked for trust and noted that his experience, skills and knowledge would continue to serve for the defense of the Fatherland.
