President Armen Sarkissian hosted today Mrs. Rima Demirjian

President Armen Sarkissian hosted today Mrs. Rima Demirjian, the widow of Armenia’s National Hero, statesman Karen Demirjian. She is also the director of the Karen Demirjian Benevolent Fund.

The President of Armenia congratulated Mrs. Demirjian on the occasion of Women’s Day, wished her health and all the best.

President Sarkissian and Mrs. Demirjian held a cordial conversation on the memories of the past and aspirations of the future, recalled episodes related to blessed memory Karen Demirjian. The President hailed the state and political activities of Karen Demirjian and noted that his name would remain forever in the memory of our nation.

Mrs. Demirjian informed that the K. Demirjian Museum is preparing a book about him which will comprise materials related to Karen Demirjian, photos, letters, and memoires about him. She asked the President of Armenia to assist in the publication of the book. The President agreed gladly.

President Sarkissian and Mrs. Demirjian spoke also about the works and projects of the Karen Demirjian Benevolent Fund.
